The redevelopment of historic One Playhouse Square in Cleveland for WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN ideastreamTM and Playhouse Square programs and technologies represents a national model for state-of-the-art educational outreach of media and performing arts organizations. 216.771.4444.
The zoo is a living classroom offering programs for all ages and interests, from overnight camps to college courses. Each program targets a particular age group. Biofacts and/or live animals provide an up close, "hands on" experience that will be both enjoyable and long remembered. Teacher resources are available year round. Suitcase for Survival - Middle school and high school activities focusing on illegal wildlife trade. This program teaches you and your students about endangered species. You get to borrow actual wildlife products confiscated at the US border!
To Save a Species - High school level, computer-based program that teaches how zoo curators decide which animals will breed and why some will not breed at all.
Activities that prepare students for study trips to the Zoo (required). $1500 teacher scholarships to accompany Zoo staff on conservation trip to the mountains of Venezuela.
Travel to The WILDS, beautiful 10,000-acre wildlife conservation center just two hours from the zoo, and learn how your class can join all Ohio zoos in saving rare butterflies.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum's Education Department is proud to announce a program of interdisciplinary classes for grades K - 12. In addition to purchasing tickets to tour the Museum, your student groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets for the Rockin' the Schools education program, which gives students the opportunity to learn about music, music history, self-expression and social change.
The Rockin' the Schools education program includes lectures with demonstrations, musical examples, videos, audience participation and stage visuals. Classes take place Monday - Friday at 10:30 and last 50 minutes.
Suggested subjects include: Kids Rock- Build blocks of rock, The Roots of Rock and Roll-current songs that have deep historic roots, Rapper's Delights : Hip-Hop as Self Expression, Rock Around the Worlds, We're Not Gonna Take It: Rock and Roll and Social Change.
