Join the Cleveland Institute of Art as it celebrates one of Cleveland's most unique artists-in-residence programs during a final public event, The Cuba Project: Works in Residence. This is the last opportunity to view the work of Cuban artists, created during their seven-month residency at CIA. The exhibition runs through May 19.  

"Metamorphosis" Photography Exhibit

The Gallery at Old Stone is currently showing "Metamorphosis" a photography exhibit which runs through the end of May. This show focuses on the transformation of lives through the Transitional Housing, Inc. (THI) program in Cleveland. The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association presents "Lawyers Without Rights" a traveling exhibit that provides a historic commentary and present-day reminder of the dangers that exist when the law is unjustly applied. It is said that one in every twenty homes in America has a work of Thomas Kinkade hanging on its walls. On Friday, the man who was known to the public as the "Painter of Light," died in his Los Gatos, CA home, of what appeared to be natural causes. He was 54. Kinkade was a favorite among art collectors.
