The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides public transportation in the City of Cleveland and 58 surrounding municipalities, and ranks among the nation's largest transportation systems.
RTA's public transportation system consists of both bus and rapid transit service with 768 buses running 102 routes, a convenient downtown loop bus system and four rapid transit lines (Red, Blue, Green and Waterfront) taking riders to virtually any destination throughout Cleveland Plus.
Red Line: This line extends from the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere in East-Cleveland to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in the west. It services numerous neighborhoods in between, like University Circle and West Park. Click here for a complete list of stations and download maps, timetables and schedules here.
Blue Line and Green Line: These sister lines travel between Tower City and Shaker Square. From Shaker Square, they branch off. The Blue Line goes to Van Aken Boulevard and the intersection of Warrensville Road. The Green Line heads down Shaker Boulevard to Green Road. Waterfront Line: This line is an extension of the Blue and Green Lines and begins at Tower City.
