Volunteer Testimonials

My experiences volunteering with Positively Cleveland can be summarized in the following points:
1. Good experiences to improve my communication skills
2. Very warm working environment
3. Convenient location from home
- Helen H.

I LOVED volunteering with Positively Cleveland! It amazed me that I lived in Cleveland for 23 years and did not know all the great things the city offers! I found the most enjoyment when guiding a new visitor to sites and attractions - it is a great feeling knowing you helped someone have an enjoyable time while exploring our city.
- Haley F. (Former Volunteer Ambassador)

My experience with Positively Cleveland really opened many doors with new opportunities for me. First off, getting further acquainted with the city that I was born and raised in made me realize that Cleveland has the potential and assets to be a top destination for many reasons. Secondly, Positively Cleveland's staff and employees are willing to help you grow in any way, (as long as you make the primary efforts to initiate conversation). There is always something going on in the Cleveland Plus region, thus making the volunteers jobs more hands on and interactive with the city, its residents, and of course, tourists. Positively Cleveland represents one of the many non-profit organizations that truly make the city of Cleveland thrive, and without it the entire region would suffer!
- Greg B. (Former Volunteer Ambassador)
